It has been known that the status of road crashes including death and injuries along the road has been reduced due to the efforts done by the Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) together with the government official through campaigns and awareness on Road Safety.

This was raised by the Senior Assistant Commander of Police, Commender of Traffic Police Fortunatus Muslimu during the inauguration of the two days CSOs seminar held at Dodoma Region and organized by the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children (MoHCDGEC).

“On 11th December, 2017 in Tanzania there were only four (4) accidents whereby only two (2) deaths occured, and today on 12th December, 2017 there were only six (6) accidents that caused only four (4) deaths and six (6) injuries while two (2) accidents happened in Zanzibar”, this information has been raised by the ASCP Fortunatus Muslimu.

The two days seminar has been planned to enlighten Road Safety issues to CSOs officials , at the same time CSOs shall look on the recommendations and the way forward to the Road Safety Act of 1973 amendments as per the Tanzania Road Safety campaign.

Tanzania Road Safety Campaigns focuses on the amendments of the five behavioral risk factors these are uses of helmets for the motorcycle driver and the passenger, wearing of seat belts for all the passengers, drinking and driving not allowed, speeding and uses of child restraints.

Nice blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it
from somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make
my blog shine. Please let me know where you got your design. Cheers

    It's a pity you don't have a donate button! I'd
definitely donate to this brilliant blog! I guess for now i'll settle for book-marking and adding your RSS feed to
my Google account. I look forward to brand new
updates and will share this website with my Facebook group.
